Running the model without any arguments results in 6 different excel files.

1. 📄 area.xlsx. Forecasted area per building category per year from 2020 to 2050. In both wide and long formats.

2. 📄 demoliton_construction.xlsx. How much area is demolished and constructed per year, and in which building categories and building codes. Also gives the change in energy use as a result of the demolition or construction.

3. 📄 energy_purpose.xlsx. The total energy use per energy purpose per building category. The energy use is given per year from 2020 to 2050. In both wide and long formats. In the wide format the building categories is aggregated to houses, apartment blocks and non-residential buildings with no differentiation on building code. The long format is more detailed per building code and building category, i.e. “kindergarten, TEK97”.

4. 📄 energy_use.xlsx. The energy use per energy product from 2020 to 2050. In both wide and long formats. In the wide format the building categories are aggregated to residential, holiday homes and non-residential buildings with no differentiation on building code. The long format is more detailed per building code and building category.

5. 📄 heat_prod_hp.xlsx. Shows the calculated heat production from “air-air” or “central heating” heat pumps for 2020 to 2050. Building categories are aggreagted to residential and non-residental.

6. 📄 heating_system_share.xlsx. Share of heating systems as fractions for the building groups house, apartment block and non-residental buildings from 2020 to 2050. In wide and long format.

Running the ebmgeodist module will add four additional files:

7. 📄 {energy-product}_use_geographically_distributed.xlsx. The geographically distributed energy use for the specified energy product. The energy use is given per year from 2020 to 2050.
